Here's yet another entry in our Painting Potluck Blog. This weeks topic was the most important topic yet- Me (an unfortunate email address decision early in my life has haunted me ever since). And since I knew all my good "buddies" over at the potluck would do their best to be "funny," I decided to take things in a different direction-Honesty.

Unfortunately that didn't work out, and I ended up with this.

been doing demos in my digital painting workshop. just picking old drawings and painting them over the course of a couple of hours. this was this weeks result.

Whew

man, February has been a busy month- starting a new job, looking for more work, and all the conventions in town; it's a wonder i've gotten any work done at all. here's a painting i did for the potluck blog, my take on a mermaid. a friend and co blogger seamas gallagher suggested i make a few changes, so i did. take a gander, let me know how she looks. more work to come soon.

a friend of mine is making a film and needed a matte painting. since he doesnt know any matte artists, he asked me if i could give it a try. how's it look?

my latest potluck

the contest was for a wild west outlaw, and doc holiday is my favorite. i haven't been posting much besides the potluck entries...but the good news is that i've been busy with work. soon i'll be back in full swing with all sorts of goodies....i hope, heh.

potluck revision

this week in our potluck contest we did "greek gods."
i chose to do hades, and i did it in kind of a Frazetta style, but with hades alone. enough of the guys suggested i add a lady to the scene, so i did.
