been doing demos in my digital painting workshop. just picking old drawings and painting them over the course of a couple of hours. this was this weeks result.

I think you did an awesome job at it. What sort of painting workshop is this? I would'nt mind taking one of those myself to freshen up. Besides photoshop, do you suggest any other programs. I've dabbled with painter years back but not recently.

hi Aaron! thanks for the comment! actually this is a workshop i teach at the academy of art in san francisco. i usually just do a demo on an old drawing. as for software, i almost exclusively use photoshop or pencil. painter is great, but i get overwhelmed quickly. there's a new program out there called ArtRage, and from what i've seen it mimics painter fairly well- and it's only $25. it's a download from the main site, just google it.
