I'm stunned by your work Jeremy, all of your WoT pieces leave me speechless. You manage to portray the characters exactly as I, and I suspect many others, see them. I look forward to seeing more of your pictures, they're simply amazing.
By the way, just started book 10 of WoT and have the next 2 lined up. Still loving every moment of the story.
Have you ever read the Sword of truth series by Terry Goodkind?
Your blog keeps getting better and better! Your older articles are not as good as newer ones you have a lot more creativity and originality now keep it up!
Great fantasy art covers. Much better than the cheesy paperback covers that I've seen for WoT. I was hoping that Tor would replace them in a new edition.
I agree with all these folks; yor covers are bada$$ and much more representative of how I picture the series than the book covers.
Do you or the Dabel Brothers ever plan on selling the original artwork for the covers? I suspect you would have some takers for reproductions (i.e. posters) of your work...
Rand here is giving me flashes of David Bowie, not like hot flashes, more like images.
I love the almost tortured rock star look you've worked for Rand, kind of Crow-esque is one can say such a thing. Spot on in my estimation, which I generally hold quite highly.
Hi Jeremy, I was just wondering if you would give permission for me to showcase some of your WoT cover artworks on this group here on deviantart: http://the-wheel-of-time.deviantart.com/
All artwork credits go to you, and are linked back to this blog here. Also the character credits will go to Robert Jordan. Just let me know if you're ok with it, and if not, then I respect that it's your decision =)
Wicked to say the least
ReplyDeleteI think these are my favorite 2 wot pieces ever
